Booking with Theresa at Barefoot Breaks was an exceptional experience
and unlike anything I’ve had with a travel agency before. Options were clearly presented, communication was open and relaxed, and there was never any pressure to make a decision. Even after the booking was confirmed, the service continued with helpful suggestions, beautifully printed travel documents, and thoughtful touches like beach towels.
From leaving Johannesburg to arriving in Antananarivo, everything ran smoothly. Transfers were waiting as promised, and the two-night layover was well organised. The Lemur Sanctuary is a must-see, although the islands are where Madagascar truly shines.
Voi Amarina was absolutely breathtaking. The resort, service, food, and beach views exceeded expectations. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the tours and experiences were worth every cent.
I have nothing but praise for the Barefoot team. This was the best holiday from start to finish. Highly recommended – 10/10.
