Carana Beach is a small bay in the north of Mahé, the Seychelles’ largest island. The water at the beach is not particularly deep, and it is safe to swim close to the shore here. The lack of a fringing coral reef means that you can find waves here at times throughout the year (between October and May is when the sea is calmest and the currents less strong) Otherwise if you fancy boogie boarding or surfing you’ll enjoy the presence of some waves. What remains year around is the beautiful scenery with glorious vegetation, clear water, and pristine white sand!

Dining is an important part of any stay at Carana Beach with a menu concept inspired by the hotel's family-owned farm, as well of course by the sea. The main restaurant 'Lorizon' offers breakfast & a la carte dinner and has rapidly built a reputation as one of the most fashionable restaurants on the island as it welcomes outside guests. Lunch or all day-dining/tapas menu is available at the 'Carana Beach Bar' by the waterfront, including beach orders. The hotel's spa provides guests with a wide choice of relaxing and therapeutic spa treatments, using locally made products.
